New Custom Clint Bowyer '5 Hour Energy' Ad

After the melee from last Sunday at Phoenix International boxing Raceway... many things came out of it.  For me, I was slinging some Twitter humor about not wanting to get into a scrap with an entire Clint Bowyer team jacked up on 5 Hour Energy! And then one of the first TV ads to air after the melee and Clint's marathon training sprint as an ad for his sponsor.  I thought the timing was humorous and fortuitous.  

Then one fan slapped together a great retrospect of a custom video on YouTube...  but we saw this coming... right?

Dale Jr and GoDaddy Sponsor

GoDaddy.com is announcing their debut into NASCAR - joining Hendrick Motorsports in a sponsorship deal. Go Daddy's first NASCAR sponsorship teams NASCAR's most popular driver, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., with the sport's number one racing team and the world's largest domain name registrar.

Go Daddy's No. 5 Earnhardt Jr.-designed race car was unveiled online, at noon (Eastern time) Tuesday. The distinct design of the car can be seen at GoDaddy.

The sponsorship deal makes Go Daddy the primary sponsor for the No. 5 NASCAR Nationwide Series Chevrolets for six events in 2008 featuring Earnhardt Jr., along with Mark Martin and Ron Fellows. Go Daddy will also serve as an associate-level partner for the No. 5 cars all season.

(Now there goes another potent sponsorship pairing!)
