The event that Speed channel broker programming for on Thursday was the Doral Contenders Press Conference, held at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, at 1pm eastern.
This is the 3rd season they gathered for this special press conference before heading into Sunday’s Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup leader Jimmie Johnson, second-place Jeff Gordon and team owner Rick Hendrick were in attendance.
