Richmond did not disappoint, as the after-race entertainment included some fisticuffs, if you could call it that, between the guys that came in 18th, and 19th, Ambrose and Mears. But otherwise, it was a pretty fun race-ending win, with the usual closing laps yellow flag and better tires working out.
With that said,

Horsepower To Be Reduced in NASCAR
As if screwing, I mean changing up how the Chase field is filled or the season won isn't enough, there's more huge changes coming down the pipe from the head offices of NASCAR.
It looks like NASCAR will be slowing down the cars, to some degree, as a reduction in horsepower will be coming for the 2015 racing season.
In addition, they're also looking at aerodynamic and tire changes, which is more than likely, also aimed at slowing the cars down.
Now there's no set reduction number officially announced, but "sources" claim that there might upwards of 100 hp being pulled from the engines that already produce up to 900 hp.
On the bright side, I'm not sure these changes will make a big impact on short tracks, and may not even be noticeable on mid-sized tracks.
More specifically, I see these changes aimed at the restrictor plate tracks, but making these kinds of changes across the board can be a simpler process to administer.
But hey, that's only a guess.
