It is with the deepest sadness that I am passing on that the ever popular Fox Sports broadcaster Chris Myers lost his son to a car accident Thursday.
His son, Christopher Myers, died in Southern California, where the family lives.
Fox is giving Chris all the time he needs to deal with this family tragedy and has replacements stepping in to cover the events from Daytona International Speedway.
NASCAR Bits & Pieces sends our deepest sympathies to the Myers family and friends.
