The test will be for him, to see if he can be cleared for racing.
Kelley's update touched on his taking it easy watching some television and light computer gaming, his cousin getting married at his property, and Tuesday's visit to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dale was at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center doing therapies and exercises. He was given home therapies to work on and he's been checking in with his own doctors every day.
The upcoming test at the paperclip, is conducive to his recovery staying on track and being at 100%.
It's good to hear he's on the mend.

In Other News: Kelley also talked about when they all first started dealing with the concussion and how at first, they were concerned about the impact on the business aspect of their race teams.
But then, when something like this:
"NASCAR legend Fred Lorenzen's daughter, Amanda, who shared that her father, 77, has suffered from longtime dementia after he raced through two severe concussions during his career without stopping to heal."
That put things into perspective about how to look at this concussion scenario. As an immediate issue to ignore, or to deal with it, with Dale's long-term future in mind.
Hey, when you get your bell rung, it's serious, no matter how simple it seems. Period.
