Irwindale Back On the NASCAR-sanctioned Scene!

It's been a while, but Irwindale is back in action hosing NASCAR-sanctioned events, and that's good news for local fans of the track.

After deliberating on offers from several race series, the track management decided to go with the NASCAR offer to host some of their events.  Much like the races the track used to host.

Irwindale's new season starts on April 6th with a Super Late Models, Late Models, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks and a demolition derby, and the season picks up from there.

I have many great memories of that place, from attending races and racing schools.

It's a great place with a great track.  (The facility hasn't changed, only management.)
