Kevin Harvick won the race at Phoenix today and Jimmie Johnson came in third while Matt Kenseth had a terrible day. This gave Johnson a 28 point lead over Kenseth, and a 34 point spread over Kevin Harvick going into Homestead.
No other driver is in contention for the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup championship.
With that said, Jimmie Johnson has to have a very bad day or bad luck at Homestead to let this title, his potential 6th championship, slip from his grasp.
He has a 28 point lead...
Johnson Championship Clinch Scenarios For Homestead
If Johnson finishes 23rd or better, he wins the title, no matter what anyone else does.
Johnson can finish 24th or better, and lead a lap to win the title.
Johnson can finish 25th or better, and lead the most laps to win the championship.

With that said, Jimmie has averaged a 15th place finish at the track since 2001.
Starting in 2001, his finishes at the track include
25, 8, 3, 2, 40 (accident), 9, 7, 15, 5, 2, 32 and 36th (rear gear).
As you can see, if he's not doing good, he's definitely not doing good.
I guess we'll see what happens come Sunday.
