Edwards' Penalty Appeal a No-Go with NASCAR

The National Stock Car Racing Commission has upheld the 25-point penalty NASCAR assessed Carl Edwards' No. 99 Roush Fenway Racing team after the right rear of his car was found to be too low following his victory Sept. 30 at Dover International Speedway.

By losing the appeal, Edwards remains sixth in the standings, 205 points behind leader Jeff Gordon.
