Newman gets the Pole for the Bank of America 500

Ryan Newman captured the pole for the Bank of America 500 at Lowe's Motorspeedway with a speed of 189.394. He was almost 1/2 a mile an hour faster than the outside front row winner, Jimmie Johnson at 188.9.
