This race from Indy was one for the ages as a chess match of tactics was played out by Ryan Newman and Jimmie Johnson. 

Newman sent a message no one listened to when he captured the pole and set a blazing track record.  They should have listened.

By mid-race, when Ryan took four tires, and showed the gang that four is better than two, the game was afoot indeed.

Back and forth the lead went between Johnson and Newman, with Newman dipping even farther back at times.

In his last pit stop, I thought Newman made an error in judgement.  Gads how I hate those gambles his team takes... but this time, it paid off and Ryan Newman fans could rejoice once more.

I missed this one gang... I was at a dog disc catching event.  And yes, it was worth it.  I won in my division.  But on to other things.

I hear the Kyle Busch got a bit snippity with the mouth about Ryan Newman and the wreck he got involved in with Kyle's brother, Kurt.  I haven't seen it but hey, really Kyle???

And with nothing to lose, as Ryan has no ride for next year, what with Kevin Harvick going to SHR with Budweiser next year, well, dang!  Hopefully Ryan will land on his feet!
