Truck Series Rules Changes Announced

NASCAR has made some interesting changes to the Camping World Truck series for 2009. Instead of beating around the bush, let's get right to the meat of the issue!

The race day performance impacting rules are:
  • Teams will be limited to only five men over the wall.
  • Pit crews will not be able to change tires and gas up during the same pit stop.

    I can't for the life in me figure why NASCAR has instituted this latest pit stop rule change! It seems ludicris to prevent tire changes and gas on the same pit stop!! Is NASCAR making rule changes just for the sake of a rule change??? This will present more opportunities for a pit road incident or accident, because there will be likely be more passes through the pit road area. This si just plain insanity!!!

    Yea, forcing the one or the other change per pit-stop is just gonna double up the stops and that can possibly cause the potential for twice the opportunity to mess up also.
