Like everyone else, Chip Ganassi is looking to change up the NASCAR field with a driver from another series altogether, the Indy Racing League's driver: Dario Franchitti.
As soon as Dario Franchitti receives his release from Andretti Green Racing, team owner Chip Ganassi says the Indy Racing League champ will be ready to begin the next chapter in his motor sports career — most likely behind the wheel of the No. 40 Dodge.
Apparently Franchitti has a signed contract with Ganassi for 2008! Let's see how he pans out compared to Montoya's semi successful endeavors and Sam Hornish's vain struggles to even make it in a Busch race.
