Late Saturday night, NASCAR announced that Busch's race-winning car had failed post-race inspection. Officials seized the intake manifold from the car and were expected to announce penalties, if any, early in the coming week.
Busch, who restarted 25th after he was penalized for speeding on Lap 90 of 200, passed Kenseth for the lead on Lap 177, then had to work hard as Kenseth tried desperately to repay the favor in a fender-to-fender duel in the final three laps.
