A Nutty Inmate sues Jeff Gordon

An inmate with very little to do.. (Which makes sense, being in jail and all) has filed a federal lawsuit against Jeff Gordon .. for the following:

(Please be sure you are seated, and in a safe spot when reading this.)

Jeff Gordon has secret plans to put wings on the No. 24 car and fly it into Fort Knox.
The car time travels.
Gordon has a secret trap door in the car to "drop tic tacs and oil" on the racetrack,
Jeff Gordon stole the talking Trans Am, Kitt, from the television show "Knight Rider."
(I wonder how Kitt would look with the Dupont Colors?)

Apparently this inmate, Jonathan Lee Riches, is a prolific and litigious inmate in South Carolina and calls himself the "Litigator Crusader,". He's launched about 31 lawsuits like this, and BELIEVE IT NOT, so far, 17 of his suits have been thrown out. Imagine that!

There are a lot more details at thatsracin.com regarding this fine citizen, and the impact he's having on inmate rights to file lawsuits.

If you dare, you can go check out the Wikipedia entry on the fellow.

This is a fascinating way to become popular, that's for sure...
Hey, the sky is blue! Who ya' gonna sue!?
