Red Bull Leaving Toyota? NASCAR series in Canada

It's a good question, and one that only time will answer for us, but according to an article over at the Toronto Sun says: Sun Media has been told that Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz has been in discussions to switch manufacturers from Toyota next year.

Those in the know say that Mateschitz has been deeply disappointed about the results of both the No. 83 and No. 84 Red Bull Toyotas in the team's inaugural Cup season and he's not pointing the finger at either A.J. Allmendinger or Brian Vickers.

This could be an interesting swap of power houses with Gibbs climbing on board, and Red Bull slipping out of the Toyota garage.

The article touches on A.J. Allmendinger frustration, and:
The inaugural season of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series wraps up this Sunday with the Dodge Dealers of Ontario Dodge Charger 250 presented by Allied Steel Buildings at Kawartha Speedway in Fraserville.

When did they (NASCAR) slip that series in under the door? Ah, according to Wikipedia, NASCAR bought CASCAR out (I remember those talks that started in '04.. just forgot about them!) and it also indicates the series winner will compete in the All Star event in Irwindale Speedway in CA.
