Craftsman Truck Series regular Mike Skinner will pilot Michael Waltrip Racing's No. 00 car in the next three Sprint Cup events, while regular driver Michael McDowell sits out so the organization can reexamine its program.
Waltrip said they need to examine their program and get feedback from Skinner, much like he did with the No 84 Toyota to help their program.
I also find it interesting timing that McDowell is sat out after the massive wreck that spawned off his left side sheet metal last weekend. It's probably nothing.
